The Sport Liverpool team deliver, support and bid for major sports events for the city of Liverpool. As well as delivering major events such as World Gymnastics Championships 2022, they act as a broker for promoters and governing bodies and work in partnership with global partners to deliver mass participation events such as the Rock n Roll Marathon.
Sport Liverpool and its partners offer a one stop shop for events including in house expertise in Project and Event Management, Venue Sourcing, Ticketing, Marketing and Branding, Accommodation, Transport and Traffic Management, Operations and Logistics, Stakeholder Engagement, Ceremonies, Fan Zones, Community Engagement, Athlete Management, Education and Physical Activity Legacy. We tailor our delivery and staffing structure depending on our role on the event.
We work closely with all our sports and accommodation venues in the city finding the best fit for your event; in particular our partners at ACC Liverpool and Liverpool Convention Bureau offer a wealth of experience and knowledge in the delivery of world class sports events. We work closely and are trusted partners of UK Sport and numerous National and International Sports Federations and Governing Bodies.
The team is based within Marketing Liverpool, the cities destination marketing agency and is part of Culture Liverpool. Together we deliver sporting, cultural and business events in Liverpool and promote the city as a world class destination with events at its heart. The team is part of Liverpool City Council.
