Our courses develop the skills you need to excel in your career. We embed work experience and real-world case studies into our teaching, so you have many opportunities to put your learning into practice. We have a strong track record on work placements with our students completing almost 19,000 placements each year. Our dedicated careers service offers one-to-one support for job applications and interviews. We also host regular lectures from industry experts and a range of subject-specific careers fairs. Many of our courses are accredited by organisations including CIMA, RIBA and CIM. We are proud that 93% of our graduates are in work or further study within six months (DLHE, 2013-14).

Sheffield Hallam’s TESOL Centre offers British Council accredited English language courses to improve your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills before you start your undergraduate or postgraduate course. Free English language classes are also available to support you during your studies.
