The LTA is the National Governing Body for tennis in Great Britain, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

We’re here to govern and grow tennis in Britain, from grassroots participation through to the professional game. We play an important part in ensuring the popularity and future of our sport. Our vision is Tennis Opened Up; we’re working towards a future where tennis is truly a sport for all.
We want tennis to be open to as many people as possible, across the whole of Britain.

We are here to help many more people pick up a racket, whether it’s for the first time, or the first time in a while. We want to enable men and women of all ages and abilities to play more often, all year round.

Volunteers, coaches, officials, clubs and venues all play an essential role in the future of our sport; without them, tennis can’t exist. We’re committed to providing them with the right investment and support, and celebrating their wonderful work.
We also want to take tennis to new areas and engage with thousands of fans, so as many people as possible can watch and enjoy world-class tennis action.

United in our ambition to open tennis up

The LTA’s Vision is Tennis Opened Up and our Mission is to grow tennis by making it more relevant, accessible, welcoming and enjoyable. We need the most innovative and ambitious people to help us get there because when we come together, we support the ambitions of people across the country through a sport that truly is for everyone.

We’re creating opportunities across Great Britain for everyone to play and enjoy tennis more easily. We work closely with wonderful players, coaches, venues, volunteers and officials up and down the country so that together, we can help everyone have fun on court.

LTA Culture

Our vision is to open tennis up to all different types of people, both on and off the court. It’s this that shapes our dynamic culture. Tennis is a game for everyone, and when we open tennis up, we open up the ambitions of our people.
Whether you’re working at the National Tennis Centre, out in the regions at the grassroots of the game, or travelling around the world supporting our elite players, everyone has an incredibly important role in helping drive tennis for Britain forward. We’re committed to creating careers that open up the ambitions of our colleagues.

We’re innovative, bold, ambitious, and proud of the work we’re doing – you can see it in our teams, who are friendly, and made of different energetic voices.

And, of course, we never forget our core values that underpin everything we do; teamwork, passion, excellence and integrity.
