About Baldwin Wallace University

Baldwin Wallace (BW) is focused on the excellence of its students through leadership and innovation in their education. Through a foundation of arts and sciences, students learn how to think critically and communicate effectively. BW's majors build on that crucial foundation, with many leading-edge programs that develop tangible professional skills and career options that match your academic passion.

Baldwin Wallace University launched its Master of Business Administration and Graduate Certificate in Sport Management in 2020 following the success of its longstanding Sport Management undergraduate major. The sport management programs at BW are versatile and help students build skills in critical thinking, leadership and ethical decision-making within the sports industry. Students learn from faculty who make it their mission to bring their professional expertise into the classroom through their real-world insights and experiences. Upon completion of the program, students will become innovative professionals who will be able to drive growth in the industry.

At BW we believe that real-world success begins with real-world learning. In our programs you will advance your knowledge and skills, help organizations develop, build connections and learn from dynamic professionals who will mentor you along the way. Sport management students take this to the next level with various experiential learning trips to major sporting events including Formula 1 races and the NBA All-Star Game in Cleveland. For a decade BW has also taken students to provide support for Super Bowl week events.

In addition, students will find small class sizes that encourage engagement and networking. The student to faculty ratio is 11:1, making it easy for faculty to get to know you by name and prioritize your learning and development.

BW's 20-minute proximity to Cleveland puts you within easy access to internships, employment and networking with leading organizations in the sport industry. Cleveland is ranked 20th nationally as being a best city for sports fans, according to WalletHub’s 2021 rankings.
