Welcome to a career in coaching & performance at The Football Association
A rare and exciting opportunity to join The Football Association in a time of positive change, huge ambition and a quest for the ultimate football success.
We have set ourselves the challenge of our Men’s and Women’s senior teams winning the World Cup in 2022 and 2023 respectively – with sustainable tournament success thereafter. To achieve this, we need to have the highest level of support dedicated to each England team.
The Technical Directorate will provide this support - helping to develop and nurture all England teams so that they can challenge and succeed in International tournaments at all levels in the men’s and women’s games.
The FA is embarking upon a major recruitment campaign and is seeking the world’s best coaches, physical performance coaches, medics, performance analysts and logistics teams to operate as one multidisciplinary unit to ensure our players can focus on getting the job done. The Technical Directorate also comprises of one of the world’s top sporting education departments, FA Education, who deliver a range of qualifications, conferences, CPD and mentoring to coaches of all levels and aspiration.
To achieve our aims, we’re placing a significant investment in our Coach Development and England Teams staff over the next 3 years and have created a Centre of Excellence at our world-class St Georges Park facility in Staffordshire.
