Job Description

iLUKA, part of the CSM Sports & Entertainment group, is a specialised agency, developing and delivering coordinated strategic activations for sponsors and other stakeholders at global events.

We are looking for Hosts to work on our on going UK events (Football/Tennis/baseball Hospitality) to work ad hoc on selected match-days and event days on weekdays, weekends and evenings through out the year. The role is London based and the work will be based at London Stadiums/Venues/Locations, So you will need to be local to London and hold the right to work in the UK.

PLEASE NOTE: To be eligible for our Tennis and Baseball roles, you’ll need to be available between the dates 24th June – 15th July 2019

The primary role of an iLUKA Host is to act as an Ambassador representing our Client’s brand and to deliver an exceptional and memorable hospitality experience to all guests who join us.

Primary Responsibilities

 To deliver an exceptional hospitality experience to the clients’ guests

  • Understanding guest touch points, provide a friendly and welcoming meet and greet service
  • Be the first point of contact and meet and greet guests on arrival
  • Manage and organise guest groups to ensure that they are in the right place at the right time
  • Accompany guests throughout their journey and deal effectively with any issues or problems that arise in order to make the guest experience a smooth and enjoyable one
  • Provide information and assistance to guests in all situations and at all stages of the programme
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and create an environment that is friendly, fun and guest focused
  • To co-ordinate guest departures as their experience draws to a close

On Arrival/Departure (Airport / Train Station)

  • Act as first point of contact for guests arriving at the airport and provide a friendly and welcoming meet and greet service
  • Act as the last point of contact for guest departures
  • Ensure a smooth transition through the airport/train station and onto transportation

Throughout the programme

  • Provide information and assistance to guests at all points of contact, whether at the hotel, on the coach or at venues
  • Accompany assigned guests on a daily basis throughout their programme
  • Liaise with coach drives to ensure smooth drop off and pick ups
  • Liaise with onsite staff to co-ordinate program and timings
  • Liaise with main client host to manage expectations and smooth running of the program

Hotel

  • Assist with hotel check-in i.e. collect room keys from reception and hand-out to each guest
  • Provide information and assistance to guests in the hotel relating to the local area and their specific program
  • Enrich the overall guest experience whilst in the hotel
  • Meet and greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Provide guests with accurate meeting times and locations

Restaurants & Activities

  • Liaise with onsite contacts handing over any specific requirements such as special diets
  • Provide information and assistance to guests as required
  • Collecting and issuing tickets / passes
  • Handle payment

At the Stadium

  • Escort guests to designated areas / seats
  •  Collect match tickets and issue to guests
  • Liaise with main host to confirm meeting points after the match
  • Ensure guests abide by dress code

Skills and Experience

  • Previous hosting/hospitality experience would be an advantage
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • A fun, ‘Can Do’ attitude
  • Confidence to manage and engage with groups of people in a variety of settings
  • Ability to think on your feet and resolve problems calmly and efficiently
  • A desire to deliver the very best levels of customer service
  • High energy, comfortable working potentially long hours in a demanding but rewarding and friendly environment
