Profile:

Coordinating, developing and implementing the compliance and monitoring activities in relation to club licensing and financial fair play (CL&FFP) which fall under the competence of the investigatory chamber of the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB).

 

Purpose:

- Coordinating the work of the compliance team and the overall financial analysis related to CL&FFP, ensuring consistency of assessment/treatment and performing quality reviews;
- Performing and developing various compliance activities related to CL&FFP, including on-site or desktop compliance audits, ;
- Liaising with a defined portfolio of national associations and clubs, external agencies and auditors as well as various units within UEFA;
- Monitoring specific FFP sectors - fair value, sporting restrictions, targets;
- Preparing presentations, memos, analysis and other output reports for the attention of the CFCB investigatory chamber and follow up the CFCB decision-making process up until final decisions;
- Organising ad hoc compliance activities on admission to UEFA club competitions/cross ownership/integrity cases.

Requirements:

Experience required:
- From 4 to 6 years' experience in financial analysis
- From 4 to 6 years' experience in auditing/controlling experience

Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance
- Charted accountant/qualified auditor

Languages:
- English / Proficient
- French / Proficient
- Italian / Advanced
- German, Russian would be a plus

Additional requirements:
- MS Office / Advanced
- Project Management / Intermediate
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadline
- Accurate, organised, able to follow instructions and procedures
- Team-oriented and good communicator
- Proactive, able to work independently and adapt to change
- General interest in football
- In-depth knowledge of the football industry would be an advantage
