About the role
The Catering Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the Catering, Cleaning & Waste (CCW) requirements across all tournament venues to ensure that athletes, officials, staff and stakeholders all have a world class experience. This role will work closely with the ICC, tournament venues and stakeholders to ensure exceptional service levels are maintained across both World Cups, and will manage the catering commercial rights afforded to the LOC.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and innovative CCW professional to ensure exceptional standards and service delivery for both the women’s and men’s events, spanning 13 venues across Australia in the same year!
- You are a seasoned CCW professional, and have demonstrated hands-on experience implementing catering, cleaning planning and delivery for an international sporting event
- You have demonstrated experience managing contacts and budgets within the catering industry
- You are a born communicator, with proven ability to develop, maintain and positive leverage stakeholder relationships across all our venues. You enjoy engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders and are easily able to utilise your negotiating and influencing skills when necessary
- You are extremely organised, with strong administrative skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
To be successful in this role, you must be someone who enjoys working in a high energy, innovative, collaborative and fast paced setting, and is not afraid of hard work. Your extensive experience to date will have equipped you with the ability to create and deliver innovative solutions to help us deliver a Spectacular Celebration in 2020!

In 2020, Australia has a unique opportunity to host this major global event – two World Cups in the same year! The eyes of the world will be on Australia as the 10 best women’s teams and 16 best men’s teams, compete to be crowned world champions.
