Profile:

The role of the Promotions Coordinator is to develop, coordinate and implement promotional plans for key UEFA competitions on behalf of the Marketing Division, aiming to enhance the long-term value of the competitions by engaging key stakeholders and bringing plans to life consistently across marketing channels. The role focuses on UEFA EURO 2020 and UEFA Europa League.

Purpose:

1. Developing promotional Plans:
- Delivering the agreed promotional strategy, while further refining and strengthening it to maximise reach and engagement;
- Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to bring the strategy to life, using presentations, KPI tracking and timeline documentation;
- Managing external agencies to implement the promotional plans;
- Designing and developing the UEFA EURO 2020 mascot, trophy tour and music programmes;
- Liaising with the UEFA EURO 2020 host cities and local organising structures to develop local events and activations of global plans;
- Supporting promotional activities at key EURO events such as the final draw and other key landmarks/PR opportunities (e.g. 100 days to go);
- Managing promotional activities and logistics connected to the finals, such as play on the pitch days, ambassador management and fan competition prizes/ winner management;
- Liaising with clubs, broadcasters and sponsors, to develop promotional collateral;
- Working closely with the Communications Division to maximise content distribution across UEFA's digital channels;
- Working with key UEFA sponsor and partners to maximise promotional plans;
- Overseeing the master project plans and maintaining accurate promotional plan budgets, sharing relevant documents internally and with partners to insure a smooth campaign rollout.

2. Account management:
- Preparing precise, concise, visually appealing presentations and documents with a logical flow to sell and present strategies and concepts;
- Overseeing master project plan documents, accurate budgets and KPIs;
- Attending weekly meetings, e.g. unit meetings, to understand the business needs;
- Sharing best practises internally to improve the visibility of the unit;
- Supporting a proactive, service-oriented account management approach to internal clients to ensure the role provides added value to UEFA.

Requirements:

Experience required:
- from 4 to 6 years / Seasoned marketing professional, with experience across all core marketing disciplines
- from 4 to 6 years / Experience in digital marketing, with a focus on youth
- from 4 to 6 years / Experience working with agencies (marketing, advertising and PR agencies)

Education:
- Bachelor's In marketing or any other relevant discipline

Languages:
- English / Proficient
