Sky Business is the business-to-business division providing commercial customers across UK & Ireland access to Sky’s great content with Sky Sports being a key feature for pubs, bookmakers and gyms across the country!

Each day is different as a Sales Account Consultant (SACs) with priorities constantly changing, with that in mind a Sales Account Consultant in Sky Business is someone who will enjoy a fast paced environment and likes to be challenged. In order to grow the business, we expect Sales Account Consultant’s to be the best in the business at promoting our content. You’ll identify opportunities to sell our product by effective questioning and objection handling. You will be working to a sales target which you'll achieve by generating new customers from leads and occasionally up-selling and cross-selling to existing customers.

You’ll be making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls, the focus is to speak with prospects with the target of converting each lead into a sale.

We also focus on development for our staff and ensure that we invest time in our people to continually improve as a team, as proof of this 80% of our current management team has been promoted from an SAC position – development is high on our priority list.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive acquisition of new customers
  • Build a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Outbound calling to prospect database, promoting the features and benefits of our products
  • Follow up ‘warm leads’ in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience 

You’ll be sales centric, with a passion for not just achieving but exceeding targets with a proven track record of winning new business, driving sales revenue and working in target driven environment.

Hours:  37.5 per week between 0900-2100 (including evenings & weekends)

Shift:  Rolling 5 week shift pattern with 1 in 5 weekends of 09:00 – 17:30.
