E-Commerce Merchandising Manager
- Manage E-commerce merchandising and self-sourcing business to meet objectives and results.
- Work closely with internal account management teams in communication and coordination with partners and licensees.
Manage NBA E-commerce merchandising and work closely with NBA online partner in assortment planning, purchase execution, import coordination, inventory management, sales monitoring and operation optimization.
Lead NBA E-commerce self-sourcing business by working with manufacturers and licensees in product development, assortment planning, quality control, purchase and payment as well as inventory management.
Coordinate with internal account management teams in product design approval, sample verification and day to day communication and coordination with licensees and partners.
Own P&Ls of self-sourcing business and monitor sales performance, conduct periodical performance review and analysisto ensure sales and profit target to be achieved.
Manage out-sourced design agencies and vendors to support self-sourcing business and other account teams in product development and marketing communications.
Required Experience & Knowledge:
Strong apparel merchandising background in sports or fashion sectors.
Creative thinking in product development and demonstrate knowledge of sports and fashion in apparel and non-apparel categories.
Deep understanding of sports fan mentality in China, an NBA enthusiast is preferred.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Multi-task oriented and attention to detail.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Fluent in Mandarin and English.
Strong computer knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Min. 7+years' experience inmerchandising planning & development or related fieldwith sports/fashion apparel background.
Educational Background Required:
Undergraduate degree from a top university with strong academic credentials.
