Job Description

As a European Grass Roots Account Manager for France you will play a vital role in the future growth and success of the Company and its brands. A selection of responsibilities can be seen below.

  • Responsible for the profitable growth of the business through the management of grass roots sports clubs / retailers in France
  • Arranging and attending exhibitions / meetings with the General Manager to develop the range
  • Arrange and attend demonstration evenings to fully show the potential of our ranges (Winter)
  • Achieve specified commercial targets for each account including volume, range and gross margin level
  • Be required to develop strong relationships both with internal and external customers
  • Keeping accurate records of the Customer Database and SAGE accounts, with preparation once a week for Company meetings
  • Attendance of Head Office Quarterly Meetings and Regular Weekly / Monthly meetings
  • Accurate planning and forecasting of stock to optimise sales opportunities
  • Develop catalogue and internet pages to drive volume
  • Implement Brand Strategy and be part of the decision process
  • Product Management - to understand fully all product specifications and pricing
  • Manage customer presentations and proposals working with our graphic designers
  • Customer service including taking customer orders and ensuring they are processed in line with customer’s expectations/requirements and company procedures, handling sales and customer enquiries
