- Sports Medicine: sports physicians, sports doctors and physiotherapists.
- Athlete Life Programme
- Specialist Support: massage, chiropratic, osteopathy, podiatry, sports vision and pilates.
As the employer of these support staff HPSNZ is uniquely positioned to select and appoint these staff aligning them with the specific need of the NSOs and targeted campaigns.
Reporting to the Director - APS Consultants, the APS Consultant is responsible for the performance impact of HPSNZ Athlete Performance Support staff in their assigned NSO to agreed and clear performance outcomes. The role will also ensure that NSOs effectively and efficiently utilise their allocated APS resources through APS role clarity, teamwork and individual performance management processes appropriate to the agreed performance objectives and values of the NSO and HPSNZ.

This is an exciting time to be joining HPSNZ. You will be part of a world's best organisation and working alongside a highly professional, committed, passionate team with an absolute focus on ensuring New Zealand's athletes and teams win on the world stage.
This is your chance to lead the support team that ensures sports are provided with the performance support required to enhance New Zealand's competitive advantage on athlete and sport performance!
