Full Job Description

Alisports aims to make sports simple. We hope to build a base platform of sports economy. After acquisition of IP rights, Alisports will converge operations and make an inventory of resources, combine media and interaction, promote marketing communication effect to enhance the ability of the sports industry as a whole with big data, and ensure organization, distribution, circulation of  IP resources from associations, events and stars.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive significant revenue growth by generating  new business – identify,  cold call, present, influence, and close deals with potential clients 
  • Initiate and complete proposals and presentations for new business opportunities across supply side sales and platforms
  • Build a strong relationship with key internal stakeholders to ensure we deliver compelling, customised sales presentations that address the core business issues and opportunities to help drive sales and maximise revenue growth
  • Stay current on industry trends and personnel moves and attend conferences, and networking events whenever possible
  • Maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities including, monthly and quarterly revenue updates and forecasts
  • Report to VP on the signing and performance of sales contracts, and target completion
  • Track record and conduct regular evaluation of the performance of sales persons, and provide professional training for them 
  • Plan, operate and monitor the regulations in sales data collection and accounting 

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum eight years’ experience in relevant work, with high-end cases in sports promotion, events operation and promotion
  • Commercially driven and have proven experience in successfully driving revenue growth 
  • Ability in planning and practicing the operation the promotion of the events 
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals and effective time management skills
  • Demonstrate ability to be forward thinking and innovative while understanding client needs and the intricacies of our business processes and technologies 
  • An understanding of long sales cycles and how to create achievable milestones and deliver meticulous follow-up 
  • Understand the business drivers, client needs and the industry environment and utilise this knowledge to achieve team objectives.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be strategic, tenacious, results-oriented with enthusiasm for sports 
  • Language: Mandarin & English
