Job Description

Working as part of the development team in Munich the senior backend developer will be responsible to design performant technical architectures, implement them together with the team and help other developers reach the project goals. Taking over responsibility and leading project developer teams consisting of internal and external developer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation of backend libraries, applications and environments
  • Build up architectures and environments for high performance data processing
  • Integration of backend interfaces with other internal and external IT systems
  • Coordinate work with local and remote colleagues
  • Support project managers and designers regarding technical topics

Professional Requirements

  • At least 4 years experience with PHP and MySQL
  • Automatic testing and continuous integration
  • Good knowledge of Laravel and/or Symphony, Redis, Elasticsearch and git
  • Experience with Javascript (nodejs), golang or other languages is a plus

Personal Requirements

  • Fluent in English is a must (written and spoken) – any additional language considered as a plus
  • Dedication to create innovative and maintainable products
  • Interested in learning new skills and teaching them to other colleagues
