The International Canoe Federation (ICF) is the umbrella organization of all national Canoe organisations worldwide. It is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, and administers all aspects of canoe sport worldwide.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing, sourcing and delivering all media content both published online and offline. This includes but not unique to the management of:
· Writing articles on the sport
· Social Media strategy and management
· Editing the ICF Magazine
· Compile content for technical newsletter every month
· Run the website content
· Photo and Video library
· Athlete and event promotion
· Media press releases
· Updating and maintaining the ICF Media database.
Relationship management includes:
Maintaining relationships with the sport including National Federations, athletes and coaches.
Build and maintaining relationships with media organisations and other external partners
Skills
You will be required to have good experience in media relations and media management
You are likely to have held a similar role in another organisation,
You will be a self starter and creative thinker, with the ability to work on your own
Equally you will be a team player to support the other areas of the ICF
Mother tongue English speaking and writing skills essential, French would be an advantage
Flexible personality to deal with a broad range of responsibilities
Event Management experience is essential
Ability and willingness to travel required.
