Full Job Description

The British Paralympic Association is seeking a high caliber candidate to help us to build on the momentum of the London 2012 Paralympic Games. This has been a groundbreaking year for the organisation, with a record medal haul at ‘the greatest ever’ games, record numbers of the British public packing the stadia and C4  broadcasting to their biggest audience in more than a decade. Our exploits have also helped to re frame the way that the nation views disability sport and disabled people. The Paralympics have truly come of age and offer a unique proposition to potential commercial partners. We’re looking to build on the fantastic achievements of 2012 and build revenue streams and corporate partnerships through to Rio 2016.

The British Paralympic Association is the lead organisation responsible for the Paralympic movement in the UK. We are a registered charity but the majority of our revenue comes through commercial partnerships. We look to partner with companies that share our values and believe that we offer a great return on investment through our unique mix of high performance sport and wider corporate responsibility agendas.

The Commercial Manager wil play a key role in both servicing existing corporate partners and securing new corporate partnerships and other revenue generating opportunities, taking a lead role in developing and delivering a new business strategy.
