Matthew Thoma of Future Sport, our editorial partner, finds out how - in association with YouTube - French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is now offering fans an engaging and enticing 360 degree match day experience.
PSG has launched a new 360 degree YouTube video which enables fans to relive the action from their Ligue 1 match against Lille at their home stadium Parc des Princes.
The 4k video experience, which can watched on both desktop and smartphone and tablet devices, lets fans view the behind-the-scenes in the changing rooms, pitch-side view of the warm-up and the game itself.
Sebastien Perron, Director of Partners at YouTube France, said: “We are delighted with the result of this new collaboration with Paris Saint Germain, that offers the club’s millions of fans the chance to experience first-hand the atmosphere at the Parc des Princes.
“For all football and sport lovers, the 360 degree videos on YouTube offer an incredible experience, especially on smartphones. We hope this video will be the first in a long series up close and personal with Les Rouge et Bleu.”
